So, here’s a change of pace. It’s my first story for HerScene, the glossy, ad-packed women’s mag published by the Louisville Courier-Journal. The article is entitled: “The Recycled Face.”

It won’t save the planet, but it may be the ultimate recycling: Reusing your fat to revamp your face.

It’s “fat transferring” and this new twist on injectables is a natural alternative to the synthetic fillers injected to soften the effects of sun, age and gravity.
